Job description: MIG/MAG Welder
Responsibilities:
- Welding:
– Perform MIG/MAG welding to meet project specifications.
– Ensure welds conform to quality standards, including visual inspections and testing.
- Grinding and Finishing:
– Conduct grinding and finishing processes to achieve smooth and polished surfaces on welded components.
– Maintain the highest standards of surface preparation and finishing for completed products.
- Assembly:
– Assist in the assembly of fabricated components, ensuring accurate alignment and proper fit.
– Collaborate with team members to achieve seamless integration of welded parts into final assemblies.
- Reading Technical Drawings:
– Interpret and follow technical drawings to understand project requirements.
– Translate engineering specifications into precise welding and assembly tasks.
- Safety and Compliance:
– Adhere to safety protocols and procedures during welding, grinding, and assembly activities.
– Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a MIG/MAG welder.
- Proficient in grinding and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with various welding materials and techniques.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Driver’s license; Own car would be a plus.
- Valid welding certificates (135, 136, 138) would be a plus.
- VCA would also be a plus.
