Position: Electrical Installation Technician Location: Workshop, Tholen Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Excellent salary, Gross €3,000 – €4,000 Job Description: As an Electrical Installation Technician, you will be responsible for building and assembling electrical control cabinets for various industries. In this role, you will work in the workshop on cabinets that enable large machines, such as tugboats and industrial systems, to operate efficiently. Using technical drawings from the engineering department, you will carefully assemble these control cabinets according to various standards. Some of your key tasks include: Reading 3D drawings Applying correct torque values ​​Checking and signing off wiring diagrams Recording changes for accuracy and quality improvement Using specific tools such as a crimping machine and wire terminals Each project consists of six different stages, from mechanical assembly to wiring and component installation. Although you will primarily work in the workshop, you may occasionally be asked to participate in on-site projects, sometimes even abroad, depending on your preference. Who are we looking for? Experience in this role is a plus, but not a requirement. We are primarily looking for someone with a passion for technology, drive, and a hands-on mentality. An MBO diploma in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering is desirable. As an Electrical Installation Technician, you should be able to work well in a team as well as independently. In deze role werk je in de werkplaats aan kasten die ervoor zorgen dat grote machines, zoals sleepboten en industriële systemen, efficiënt elektrisch kunnen draaien. Met technische tekeningen van de engineeringafdeling bouw je deze besturingskasten zorgvuldig op volgens verschillende standaarden. Enkele van je belangrijkste taken zijn: Lezen van 3D-tekeningen Toepassen van correcte aanhaalmomenten Controleren en aftekenen van bedradingsschema’s Registreren van wijzigingen voor nauwkeurigheid en kwaliteitsverbetering Gebruik van specifiek gereedschap, zoals een kiesling machine en wire terminal Elk project bestaat uit zes verschillende fasen, van mechanische assembly tot het bedraden en monteren van componenten. Hoewel je vooral in de werkplaats werkt, kan het incidenteel voorkomen dat je gevraagd wordt mee te werken aan projecten op locatie, soms zelfs in het buitenland, afhankelijk van je voorkeur.
