Job Description: Grinder/Slakkenman                                                         

Responsibilities:

1. Material Preparation:
   • Assess and interpret route cards, drawings, and instructions.
   • Identify ambiguities and report them to the Team Lead.
   • Prepare materials before and after welding.
2. Equipment & Safety Compliance:
   • Inspect equipment and materials for damage and report deviations.
   • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (P.B.M.).
   • Perform Last Minute Risk Analysis (LMRA) and take necessary precautions.
   • Set up equipment according to procedures.
3. Grinding & Finishing:
   • Operate power tools as per instructions and procedures.
   • Visually inspect and repair workpieces or weld seams.
   • Ensure compliance with quality standards and report deviations.
4. Work Documentation:
   • Record and scan completed work.
   • Maintain hand tools in good condition and arrange checks if necessary.
5. Work Environment & Safety:
   • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
   • Adhere to safety protocols, including mandatory use of protective gloves, shoes, and clothing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• VCA Basic Certificate (in Dutch, English, or German) – Mandatory.
• Aerial Work Platform Certificate – Mandatory for Maasvlakte location.
• Driver’s license B.
• Proficiency in Dutch (B1) or English (B1).

Gross Salary: €16,05 per hour
Shift Allowances:

• Afternoon shift: +28%
• Night shift: +35%
• Overtime & Saturdays: +75%
• Sundays: +100%

Deductions:

• Housing: Provided by the company.
• Health insurance: €139,95 per month (if needed).

Work Details:

• Minimum hours per week: 40
• Working days: Monday – Sunday
• Option for overtime: Yes
• Own sleeping room: Yes
• Accommodation: Hellevoetsluis
• Travel allowance: €0,23 per km (if using own car)
